Are there government grants for solar in Ireland?

Yes. The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) offers significant financial support to drastically reduce the cost of installing solar PV systems for homeowners, businesses, and farmers. As an SEAI-registered installer, QMAC is approved to carry out all grant-eligible work.

Who Qualifies for the Homeowner Solar Grant?

Property: Must be an owner-occupied dwelling, or a landlord’s property.
Age: Built and occupied before December 31st, 2020.
Installer: Must use an SEAI Registered Solar PV Company like QMAC.

Commercial Solar Grants (NDMG): For businesses, schools, sports clubs, and other non-domestic buildings, the Non-Domestic Microgen Grant (NDMG) offers support up to €162,600 for systems up to 1MWp.
